Kids saw Return of the Obra-Dinn on the Switch and were really excited because they heard it had murder. I stopped them because I don’t know how their parents feel about semi-realistic pirate murder, but I bet they would’ve bored themselves out of it.Comments

Weirdly specific, and of course, misguided. Any tempo can be expressed as being in that range. Something that’s thought of as 160 bpm can be 80 bpm if you just say the quarter notes are actually eighth notes. Something that’s 72 bpm can be 96 bpm if you cast quarter notes as quarter notes tied to triplet eight notes. I’m sure they’re not going to entertain technical arguments like that, but if they were, you could also just say you were listening to “sound art” rather than music. -
