Hour run, though maybe a third of that was walking because a lot of the paths through the Fells were rough. Based on my 1.5 year+ recovery time from lifting furniture, I don’t know how long it would be if I wiped out on a rocky slope.

After the Flood
On the night of 17 October, Al-Ahli Hospital in Gaza City was struck by a projectile, killing patients, medical staff and residents seeking shelter. A group of doctors held a press conference surrounded by corpses and described the scene after the blast, with dismembered bodies sprawled across the corridors. The Israeli army went on a media offensive, collating videos, aerial photos and what it claimed was a recording of two Hamas militants to prove that the blast was the result of an Islamic Jihad rocket. Palestinians and others disputed the claim, pointing to flaws in the evidence as well as the IDF’s track record of disinformation. Various media outlets, open source intelligence outfits and governments are investigating the incident, with no clear conclusion so far.
I don’t know what the truth is but I know that being first wins: The US already rolled with the IDF account. What a mess.

Took 15 pulls in the knife sharpener to get a burr on the chef’s knife. It was dull! Of course, I may have oversharpened now because the bevel goes well beyond its previous extent near the point. It still cuts through stuff like it’s nothing, though.

Along those lines, I don’t like how experimental music connected to universities gets more credit. I guess it is really weird stuff and maybe that someone is working on their PhD to produce it provides a filter that listeners are desperately looking for.
