- Dropped off, picked up early. It was the last day of camp, which is sad, not just because it's inconvenient. The guy genuinely liked it. In the beginning, we thought it might turn out like the YMCA camp and that we'd have to bail.
- Opted out of
Verizon's "relevant online advertising". I'm only noting this because they (accidentally?) made it so hard to do. Every time I try to log in to Verizon's site, they say my information does not match what they have on file, then I have to try logging in again until they make me reset my password. This is even in Chrome, with no tracking protections. (It may have to do with the uncaught exception I see in the browser console.) Anyway, I was tempted to let it go, but tracking at the ISP level is just too insidious.
- Job. Progress isn't explosive, but no setbacks so far, either!
- Did some laundry.
- Emailed a friend back.
- Talked to another vermiculite abatement company, scheduled an estimate. Then found out they don't work with Mass Save and wanted to cancel on the spot but decided to think about it. Now I have another thing to do.
- Put together some shelves. I'm a big fan of this plastic shelving! It purportedly holds 750 lbs. (though I'm not going to test that), and the little bit of give that plastic has makes it really easy to assemble. I do feel bad about the amount of petroleum involved, which I assume has worse impact on the environment than metal or wood.
I remembered that "playing a good game feeling", which I haven't thought about in a while. So, I guess I should play one sometime! A tabletop one, that is. I did play Pikmin 3 with the guy, and we completed the Olimar's Comeback side game. That was fun, but also something completely orthogonal to that feeling I'm talking about.
