I've been focusing on "offense" rather than "defense" for the past several months. That is, creating new work and trying out new ideas instead maintaining old stuff and promoting things.
I'm applying for a job now, and I've finished a big project that I want to people to know about, so now I have to do defense, which is making me sweat.
One of those defensive things is updating
Observatory. Nearly a year ago, I shut down the data fetching cron job because of some problem I didn't have time to fix at the time. I just turned it on today, and it works?? I fear that its boneitis will suddenly come back, but I'm gonna take it for granted for now.
Updating the metadata for dozens of projects still had to be done, though, and it's a grind.
