I felt more tired this morning than the previous two early mornings, but it's probably because the guy got up at 4:20 AM (really) to ask me to turn on the night light and put the blankets on him.

OK, it's day 2 of my early wakeup schedule, and I have been drowsy since 3. This is often when my attempts at adopting a new schedule collapse.
I have an unfounded belief that if I get through today and tomorrow morning things will work out, probably because it lines up with popular story narratives about changing one's life.
I really do hope this sticks, though, because the days are so much less anxious when you know you already got your project work in. -

mainstream white nationalism.Perhaps the most ringing endorsement for Carlson came from Daily Stormer publisher Andrew Anglin, who raved about the anchor’s ability to “own” liberal guests on his show. Anglin and his cadre of writers evolved their stance from skeptical encouragement to hero-worship of Carlson, with The Daily Stormer ultimately labeling Tucker “/ourguy/.”
Again, like Trump verbally encouraging open racism, the normalization of white nationalist rhetoric is going to lead to violence and harm to people of color. -

If you think artists are sensitive people that are overly caring about the marginalized: Shepard Fairey Halts Whitewashing of “Offensive” LA Mural
“Yeah, these things happened and they’re part of a terrible history, but this mural has nothing to do with that,” Fairey told the Los Angeles Times. “What he has in his mural is nothing close to the battle flag. It’s not the same color scheme. It’s not the same focal element. It’s stupid to me. I thought that cooler heads would prevail because this is absurd.”
Shepherd Fairey is such a shit.
These people went into a Korean neighborhood, populated by people who lived through WWII. It is public art, which is presumably for the neighborhood. I'm sure it was intentional, but it looks like the fucking Rising Sun flag. That's not what you want to see in your neighborhood if you are familiar with what it represents!
So, these White artists and art critics decide the people who live there and have to look at it are stupid and should shut up.
It's sad that for people to understand things you have to make a Nazi analogy, but you do. So here we go: What if you painted a mural with a manji in a Jewish neighborhood. You could make all sorts of valid arguments about how it existed before the Nazis and has other meanings in other cultures. But you can't argue away that it would make people think of the Nazi swastika painted on a school in their neighborhood. The right thing to do would be to say, hey, I didn't mean it; I'll take it down. The wrong thing to do would be to tell them they're dumb.
I love art, but I fucking hate the art world, especially the parts of it that – perversely – make the most money. -
2-8-6-2-3-4. I think it's for the best to make the first set a really short one on cold days like this, then walk around and let the blood run, and go for a big set.
When I started doing the pull-ups, I was feeling apocalyptic, so it was important for me to be able to do a big set immediately after running. It felt good to be able to exert a lot of strength while out-of-breath a bit. Now, I'd rather be able to avoid crunchiness and upper back pulling, but I'll get back to big first sets in the spring.
