A promotional web site I enjoyed. I'm really wiped now and in general today. So, going through pages of Smash Bros. characters is about my speed right now. I have no intention of playing it, but I'm quite amused Ryu from Street Fighter has ended up in that game, along with a cheery Animal Crossing villager.

For 20-30 years, I did not realize that The World Is a Vampire and Rat in a Cage are the same song.
Also, I am less annoyed by Spoonman than I was as a youth, but more annoyed by the Foo Fighters song and the Stone Temple Pilot song. -

Skipping pull-ups today. I assure you I don't take this lightly, but I do prioritize not damaging myself serious and not making myself exhausted over maintaining a daily total. I have some upper back twinginess again, as well as a kind of a long evening ahead of me.

I helped a woman out that was having trouble with a Somerville parking meter. There were two problems:
1) There were two numbers above her parking space. Only one was the parking space number accepted by the meter.
2) (This was the critical one) It informed the user that a parking space was not valid via message that flashed by for literally less than a second before returning that space on the display to unhelpful promotional text. So, we had to try a couple of times in order to read it.

Experiencing yet another painful lesson in giving data to an advertising platform. When Vine shut down, it said you can download your videos. I made two requests back then, and got nothing, and their help email account did not reply.
So, I figured I'd go back and scrape my videos off of the site later. I looked just now, and I can't even get to my old page. It's especially crushing because these were old videos of my son as a baby whose HD backup was lost. -
Colin showed me this map of the governor election results. I guess I'm really out-of-touch with the Massachusetts electorate! I am mystified by how into him people are. I know him mostly as an obstructionist that won't fund the public transportation that keeps our local economy going.

Well, Kansas has a democratic governor!
And there is a Democratic house. Although a Republican senate will still prevent policy changes (though maybe Net Neutrality can be brought back), at least investigations can move forward.
I think I will call my congresswoman today. -
