I spent most of the day redesigning the layout on the
Small Findings site. I went with a flexbox-based three-column thing that'll take advantage of a full-screen browser on a laptop, but if it's at half-width, it'll probably break to two and drop to one on mobile (unless you have a huge phone).
A lot of what I did was make sure the spaces between various elements were consistent, which goes a long way toward conveying visual unity. CSS variables make this way easier, and I'm still kind of surprised they're natively supported by browsers.
As a bonus, I updated my "podcast roll" so you can go see what I think is worth listening to.
