I did not expect to spend most of the day slowly reintroducing foods to the guy's diet, but you know, I feel a lot less bitter than if I had spent that time alternating between projects and reading the articles.

We think the guy has a stomach bug (meaning some kind of digestive tract pathogen) because he’s behaving exactly the same as past times he’s had one. The doctor’s office also thinks this is likely. They also said you could get a stomach bug without contact with other people. But how?

The city can finally pick up this old, broken dishwasher we’ve had in the basement for a while. We just hauled it up and out!

That empty space in the basement looks so good and promising. We can put a dishwasher’s volume of junk there now.

10-4-4-4-4-10. Break to clean up kid vomit. Felt good to steam clean the floors, though.

Glad I got the workout in in some form. I definitely need to feel whatever physical strength I have today.

The Strange Little Cat took a bunch of normal family events and made them really weird via unconventional framing and slightly strange anecdotes from the characters. I have to admit: I thought for a moment, is this how German families talk?

It wasn’t a disturbing movie, nor amusing, but stimulating to watch because of the framing shakeup.

I’m in a bad mood, which is natural, but I also want to get a lot done during my day off. Oh, well.

I’m glad to see stuff like this and, because I’m more careful about my intake, not White people online talking about how these unruly protesters shouldn’t be fighting back because how is that going to look to old White voters in the next election? They’ll be just like the communists in pre-Nazi Germany who turned the peaceful people to the Reich! Instead, they should just roll with White supremacists shooting arrows at them and (again) murdering them by hitting them with cars. Maybe the police will help them?

Hearing this from White liberals after Charlottesville greatly angered and depressed me. This shrugging attitude toward racist violence, which has long-term detrimental effects, fills me with an indescribable loathing. In fact, just writing this makes me feel a great bitterness.

All right, end of post; back to doing things with just the people in my apartment.
