In this
Heavy Hole episode, they pronounce "Baphomet" as "Bapho-may", which is probably right? I've never heard it aloud.
Also, Cannibal Cam Schwarz who's making a death metal documentary is into Bobby Brown and late '80s R&B. Back in the '90s, metal dudes would have given him a lot of shit about it.
This podcast is consistently good but also consistently 1.5-2 hours long. It also consistently comes out every single week, which is what a Good Podcast is supposed to do. The problem with this, in conjunction with Longform, Adam Buxton, and Thought Eater also delivering one hour plus podcasts, is that there is no way I can keep up, and I end up just sampling at random.
It is a "nice" problem to have so more good stuff than you can listen to but makes a good case for shorter podcasts like The Daily and (sometimes) Talking Politics.
