Well, here's my strange new keyboard layout. I think my remappings make sense, but there's no getting around the fact that I have to get used to everything being in a new location.

Also, the remapping may not make sense. The first iteration lasted only fifteen minutes.

Curtatone not running for re-election
Tauro, a Trump supporter who stands in strong contrast to Curtatone’s progressive image, has used the weekly newspaper to present conspiracy theories about Curtatone. He compiled several articles into a book called “Stealing Somerville: The Death of an Urban City.” The nature of the corruption he alleges is hard to describe.
The urban cities are best ones, though.

Here’s how I get pizza to get into the oven without sticking to the peel. Like I talk about around the 4:00 mark, I put the pizza on parchment paper and put both the parchment paper and pizza in the oven so that it’s easy to get off the peel. The key, though, is that I let a little bit of the pizza stick directly to the baking steel. That way, when I pull the parchment paper out a minute later so that the pizza cooks directly on the baking steel, a part of the pizza is stuck to the steel, making it easy to pull out the parchment paper.

Someone recreated WJIB a semi-famous local "adult standards" (AKA easy listening) station. I don't know why, but it is somehow better than other easy listening stations? There's some heart in it that comes through, somehow.

I resented having to pay $11 to get a special screwdriver so I could open my computer and see if the battery is swollen. But I guess being able to open my computer at all is sort of a privilege.

Dog drama in Southie! The interesting thing is that I think the term “boomer” appears to have expanded to apply to anyone older than the speaker. People are complaining about “boomers” letting their kids play in the park. Actual boomers are too physically old to have non-adult children.

I’ve been trying to think of more work that can be done without typing lately. There’s high-level UX design and high-level program design, of course, what with all the diagrams traditionally involved. But that’s a thing you do 2-3 times per project.

I found one more thing. Thinking up what unit tests to write is a thing you can do without sitting at a keyboard.

I started listening to Heavy Metal Bebop. I’ve only heard half an episode so far, but it’s really well done. It’s interviews with jazz and metal artists about the connections between the two.
