- Talked to insurance guy. She said U-Haul's insurance has to handle our issue.
- Emailed U-Haul insurance guy.
- Vacuumed the house. The charge ran out by the time I got to the basement, but I got most of it. It didn't take that long. The Small House Advantage!
- Emailed back a friend and a mom.
- Picked up.
- Made dinner. Wow, heating up rice really sucks without a microwave. Defrosting thin slices of beef is even worse.
- Went to the music programming group. Chatted with some new folks about Pure Data and web audio. Later listened about how disheartening trying to get jobs can be (particularly
take home tests). I feel for the job seekers; there's a lot of pouring effort into things that probably don't matter, but you can't know that they don't matter. Made progress on converting Flooding back into a programming-driven piece rather than a user-drawn-graph-driven piece. It seems promising that even the bugs are interesting with this approach.
