- Went to the guy's report card conference. He continues to be good at reading and math and continues to need some help with social stuff and producing non-literal answers when asked to write something. He is a "calming prescence."
- Supervised the guy's woodworking project. If only there were someone to supervise mine.
- Went to the library. Got books for everyone, but forgot to pick up covid tests, which was the main reason I went there.
- Made dinner.
- Started hollowing out my log. The hole cutting and drilling parts went OK, but while I was chiseling, I forgot the two-hands-on-the-chisel rule and chiseled my finger. There was too much blood for a band-aid to handle, but not too much for gauze and tape. It is no longer throbbing, which I believe is a good sign.
- Discovered a leak under a bathroom sink. We cleaned it up, put a baking pan under it, and left a message with a plumber.
Katt and I realized we're getting away from the Slow Life ideal. We're going to have a day where we just read like the guy does, except with coffee.
