If anyone wants to get into Puzzmo, this code (locked by a puzzle) is good until 12 ET on 11/19.Comments
I like it so far. I don't want to do it every day, but I enjoy Flipart, Really Bad Chess, and the crossword. -
A neat thing about Goo Gone: It looks like urine. So if you want to give the impression you keep urine in a jar without actually being around urine, there you go.Comments

Back stuff, junior calisthenics done. Sad to say, the big arm circles feel like work for me!Comments

(Sorry it’s in all caps. The original text that I scanned is all caps comics lettering.) Too real.
GENRES. AT THE TIME, I WAS INTRODUCING MY KIDS TO ANOTHER TEENAGE INTEREST OF MINE: DUNGEONS & DRAGONS. I CREATED A SHORT ADVENTURE FOR THEM IN WHICH A TOWN WAS DIVIDED BECAUSE THE SINGLE BRIDGE THAT JOINED THE TWO HALVES HAD BEEN DISTROYED. MY KIDS LOST INTEREST BEFORE THEY EVER SOLVED THE MYSTERY OF WHAT HAPPENED TO THE BRIDGE, BUT I GAINED A GOOD IDEA FOR A BOOK! -

Garth Brooks’ new studio album is called Time Traveler, and it is available exclusively as a CD at Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s outdoors stores. Fans cannot buy this CD individually, they must buy it as part of a 7-CD boxed set that costs $30. It is not on any streaming service and may never be.

I guess we have to work on remembering to actually use the breakfalls he learns to actually break a fall instead of just doing them during warm-ups then completely forgetting about them. -
Today in Jim Checks His Email:Comments
To whomever it may concern at the Notescast team,
Honestly, kinda tempting! Does Mr. Shain really want to sell his hair solutions on a podcast that’s mostly field recordings and songs by me? I don’t see why not!
The general theme of Notescast really meshes well with a guest suggestion I have for you for your consideration.
Your time is valuable, so I’ll keep this email super short and straight to the point, and I 100% respect both your time and your decision for what’s best for your podcast.
That being said, I’m reaching out on behalf of Mahryah Shain, CEO at More Hair Naturally.
He’s been an executive with More Hair Naturally since 2003.
He was also an actor that has played multiple roles from 1999 to 2017 (which means he'll definitely be able to keep your audience engaged!)
Mahryah can give a ton of value to your audience. Here’s why:
-His passion for natural, safe, and holistic health solutions will inspire and empower your audience. They will come away from the episode with valuable knowledge and practical tips for maintaining a healthy lifestyle and promoting their own health using holistic, eco-friendly methods.
-He can also share his extensive knowledge of hair loss and thinning, as well as the science behind it.
Here are a few topics Mahryah can discuss. Would any of these topics benefit your audience?
1. Natural Ingredients roles and their benefits for overall health and growth in both children and adults.
2. Holistic Hair Care: Holistic approaches to hair care, focusing on diet, exercise, and stress management to promote hair health and overall well-being.
3. The role of non-conventional therapies like herbal treatments and acupuncture in improving overall wellness.
4. Highlighting the connection between general health and hair health, offering insights on maintaining a healthy lifestyle to prevent hair-related issues.
5. Stories from his acting days.
If you would allow Mahryah to be a guest on your podcast, we’ll be sure to share it across More Hair Naturally social platforms.
Thank you for taking the time to read my proposal. Please let me know if you are open to hosting him on your podcast.
With Sincerity,
Omar

Ran for five minutes, then stopped and walked just to make sure I didn’t trigger the intense leg pain from the first half of the week. Various junior calisthenics, 12 pull-ups, ab stuff.Comments
I might actually be recovered now? I already cancelled D&D, which is a logistical challenge to schedule. I thought that since I had been sick for five days, it really felt like it was going to be a long haul. Well, at least I have another chance to reconfigure the dungeon. -

OK, I can sit up for an hour without problems. That’s handy. And the ibuprofen has reduced the head pressure. Bedresting until noon lead me to all sorts of wild thoughts about quitting trying to do so much stuff. Crazy? Or correct? I’ll have to wait until I have a more typical brain state.Comments

“Make It Real” AI prototype wows devs by turning drawings into working softwareComments
Well, this is a long way from making shipping software, but it is bad for people like me that like making prototypes. -

I got up at 4 AM because I had to blow my nose a bunch. I felt like I had energy while going to the basement to get a new box of tissues. Then, I felt like I should get back to sleep.Comments
I did for a few hours, then woke up too late to make my doctor appointment and cancelled, then laid back down and could not get the activation energy to get out of bed until noon.
That whole time, I refrained from looking at my phone or playing video games because I felt I should try to actually sleep. I never did — I just ended up in a state of half-asleep dread.
I don’t know why I have a psychological nightmare every time I get sick. I don’t recommend it! -

I think I need to do those warm-ups they do at martial arts classes and little kid activities every day. The jumping jacks, twists, knee bends, judo push-ups, windmill stretches, etc. When I do neck rolls, my neck makes clicking noises.Comments
I was aware of and trying to resist my tendency to only do a few specific exercises that are usually quantifiable, and I think that may have resulted in some brittleness? I also need to make sure I walk every day. Running isn’t a substitute for that, it turns out. -
