I think I need to do those warm-ups they do at martial arts classes and little kid activities every day. The jumping jacks, twists, knee bends, judo push-ups, windmill stretches, etc. When I do neck rolls, my neck makes clicking noises.
I was aware of and trying to resist my tendency to only do a few specific exercises that are usually quantifiable, and I think that may have resulted in some brittleness? I also need to make sure I walk every day. Running isn’t a substitute for that, it turns out.
