We saw hooded mergansers on the river! I thought they were young geese, but Katt looked it up, then a couple of blocks away, I heard someone talking about going to see them.
More interesting to me was that they, the regular ducks, and geese were all mingling. I usually see them in separate groups. It’s bird unity season!
