Your Top Songs is a really safe set. Spotify puts the songs with the most plays (with some filtering for children's music et al) from a user together and gives it to that user. And, of course, it's very pleasing to that user most of the time. They get information about themselves, and they get songs they know they like.
I'm no exception, and of course, I think
my top songs are great. I'm a little surprised that that I listened to the '90s classics Davidian and Hail Mary that much, but mostly, yeah, I was really into Body Count, Enslaved, and I went through a big Christian Mistress run. And of course, Slayer and Wu-Tang forever.
