- Fixed some budget stuff.
- Set up Venmo, contributed to class gift. Finally got an "airlock" checking account to link to it so I don't have to worry about it being connected to more than I'm comfortable with.
- Job.
- Chipped more plastic veneer off my workbench.
- Took the guy to social class.
- Got groceries.
- Designed a "shelf" (a couple of boards) that can go between the studs in the divider wall in the basement. I will eventually have to make real shelves, but this will be faster and easier, and we can just start putting stuff on it.
- Fixed a basement stair. My friend Daniel, who was a carpenter for a year or two (Level 2 Carpenter, maybe?), told me I could just put screws in to secure the end bit of stair that snapped. I could come up with something like that but then I would have assumed that something I don't know about would have gone wrong and cause the stairs to somehow collapse. That's the problem with not having done stuff! Four of the five screws went in without cracking anything, and I can stand on the edge of stairs without moving it. I'm going to count that as good enough.
- Went to the music programming group. Good chat, then I wasted hours trying to convert my project to TypeScript. I actually had it converted pretty quickly but this `Parsing error (You may need configure typescript-eslint-parser): '}' expected.` ESLint error got under my skin, and I wasted all of my time trying to fix that instead of ignoring it and actually making progress.
