The Stick is definitely a real tree now, but it had multiple potential trunks, so I cut two of them off so the dominant one could flourish.
I planted the cut branches elsewhere even though I know roots won’t grow in the fall as a tribute to the kids that plant hot dog tree and because it looks nice.
