Looking at my notes, I'm not sure if I have any answers. They made a few bad decisions, but a lot of those were forced by not having enough funding. Which is a bit surprising. The elementary schools do not look underfunded, so I guess distribution in uneven.
This sort of correlates with the fact that Medford loses students as they get older fairly consistently. For example, a cohort of 426 kindergarteners that started in 2009 became 291 HS seniors in 2021.
