I got a 34/38 on the reading comprehension part of the CELPIP practice test. That would give me a CLB (Canadian Language Benchmarks) level of 10-12, which at is least "effective" in workplace contexts.
I think I only need a CLB of 7 ("Adequate proficiency in workplace and community contexts"). However, a 7 will only get you 4 points on the immigration score, whereas a 10 will get you a 6. So, I'd need to score that, but also do well on the other three test sections, including listening.
