OK, I have mostly successfully (gotta fix the bot snapshot service later) upgraded my server from Ubuntu 16 (whose long-term support, meaning maintenance updates would be made for it, ended in 2021) to Ubuntu 22 (which should be good until 2027).
This (virtual) server is seven years old! It should be in third grade next year, writing paragraphs and making boats.
