I forced myself to learn a bit of cables.gl because I gotta learn a different way to make things once in a while. (Fifteen years ago, I was doing way too much learning new ways to make things.)
It's not bad, so far. Certainly, it's a way more approachable graph programming environment than Pure Data is. It runs in the browser or in an Electron wrapper, so there's no painful audio system config to do. It also seems to do much less because it's for making animated visuals, not for producing any kind of sound you can imagine. Which is nice if it happens to be doing what you want.
