- Looked into banks within walking distance.
- Sent nephew a present that I know for sure he doesn't have.
- Replied to the principle.
- Stood a plant that was blown over back up.
- Emailed a friend.
Some kid slapped the guy in the hallway at school today. We're looking into it. Hopefully, this is a freak incident and can't normally happen.
I'm sure this sounds very "blue state special snowflake" to some, but this not being taken seriously is just not going to be accepted. I guess it was good to warm up with that stupid UPS thing. Having gone to schools at which this kind of minor violence and sometimes major violence was a regular "that's just the way it is" part of the environment, I can say that it isn't good for anyone, and it's not going to "toughen you up" in a way that's actually helpful.
