My former colleague Jason's band, Lame Drivers, released a really polished album. It's sort of like punk but not angry? "Indie rock but not twee?" The playing is tight, and you can easily hear every instrument. Anyway, I think a lot of people like this kind of sound even though I'm not familiar enough with its genre to describe it, so you should check it out!
