I went to the pipe organ recital at Harvard Memorial Church. The pipe organ sounded heavy, and the pieces were a lot more adventurous than I expected. Burkhard Mohr is not afraid of dissonance and lots of changes. It was fairly proggy. Alex said it reminded him of Chrono Trigger.

Very cool that there’s a nearby venue to hear pipe organ music. I thought I’d have to go downtown, and even then, it looked like it was all religious music.
