I was able to connect to my old Mac Mini, which I think I stopped using around eight years ago so. It did not have the current wifi password, nor could I connect it to any sort of display, but thanks to another old Mac which had an ethernet port, I was able to get to it.
While getting it on the network, I came across this list of wifi networks that it knew about (because I probably set it up initially by cloning from an Apple laptop).
