Liers in Wait was mentioned in Swedish Death Metal. They had a member of Grotesque, the band that went on to become At the Gates. They only had one EP.
I just checked it out, though, and it's incredible. Amazing and cleanly played riffs for 1990 just bursting all over the place. Good use of synths, too, which is rare in metal.
Why this was relegated to obscurity is a mystery to me.
