I changed the Roomba tires, which were entirely bald. Now it can get over extension cords.

They fuse the factory tires through these holes in the wheel, which makes them hard to get out. I could see iRobot saying that this way, the tires are more secure. But I could also see them saying out loud that this forces people to buy their wheel “modules” for $30 each instead of tiny tires for $2 each.
