I thought of writing something to get around the problem with Mastodon only working if you check it several times a day. (It only gives you posts from the last couple hours. If you scroll back further in a list, you’ll see gaps that go all the way to the last time you logged in.) It was going to be something like a keep-alive service that kept pulling posts periodically.

But there’s just way too much for me to do. I’m going to have to explicitly put that idea down and just live with getting a small random sample of whatever’s going on there.
