Blood Incantation record to tape, not at all digitally. There's even a picture of the tape reels in that article.
So if you’ve ever wondered how Blood Incantation sound simultaneously ancient and futuristic, part of that comes from the band’s approach to recording their albums using analog equipment.
I, not being that serious of a musician, would never do this, as it is a lot of work, and I'm not really into recording things more than once or rehearsal. But having your stuff
down before you record seems to really give it a unifying presence that cut and paste stuff doesn't have.
All that said, we don't have to make everything monumental, and it's better to make your songs via cut and paste than not make them at all.
