Welp, the car ran out of electric power while we were driving the guy.
I made the mistake of pulling over to see what was up. Given that I thought it was the alternator, it would have been nice if I had realized the car wouldn’t start again if I stopped it.
One point in my instinct’s favor, though, is that there might be critical driving stuff that relies on electricity.
Well, now I gotta wait out here 40-70 minutes for a tow. That’s just long enough that if they do make it here in 70 minutes, there will be 30 minutes to make it to the garage before it closes. And of course, if they miss their estimate, it’s highly uncomfortable.
