I feel like I was in worse shape than the last two times for judo tonight? I was tired after breakfalls. It was less intense that the previous classes, even.
I actually only did one round of randori at the end. I was dying. I really sucked, but I feel good for having tried some things. It's sort of good to be bad at things, I think?
And there's just no way to get in good condition for this class other than to just keep going. There is no way I can motivate myself to work this hard without partners/opponents.
Also, I should probably come with an agenda. The senseis are really loose and just ask you what you want to work on. I asked about ouchi gari, which was good to work on. Then, no one said anything the next time the asked, so I brought up bridges, which I needed, but then again no one spoke up, so I just said turnovers.
They ended up going through a few super technical and involved turnovers. They were cool, but for the life of me, I can't remember how they go. I should have said "simple turnovers".
