The analog synth version of the Metroid item room music is incredibly good. A lot of it is that reverb. The sounds sound like they're actually coming from a space, which is a huge boost for atmospheric music. An alternative universe in which every NES somehow shipped with analog synths (making them 10x the size) would be amazing.
