
Possibly as a result of accidentally napping for two hours during the day yesterday, I popped awake at 4:20 AM (apparently I woke Katt up, too, and she remembered the actual time), then had a lot of staying asleep. I drifted in and out of a lot of mild nightmares and thought about childhood fears and things that could happen to my child.
I thought the right thing to do was to try to go back to sleep because every time I've gotten up extra early, I've felt like death around 5 PM or so, but maybe it was the wrong move in this case? Sleep! No one can play that game correctly.
