Money orders are supposed to be as easy to deal with as cash. I went to my physical bank branch to deposit one. A few days later I happened to be looking at the account and found that it was returned. They didn't send an email or call about it. I wouldn't have known otherwise.
I called them, and they said I'd have to call Walmart. WTF. (That's where the money order was bought.)
Also, another strange thing: They asked me to write my first name in "pay to the order of" part of the money order. That seemed weird. I wonder if that's what fucked it up. Maybe Western Union tries to line up that field with what they have in their records.
Either way, goddamn Naveo Credit Union. So many basic things are hard with them. I wish Ally had money order deposit.
