The grilled butternut squash turned out well. It’s got a sweet/mealy/crisp in places/smokey combo.
I was pissed because it took so much longer for it to get soft than expected. Serious Eats says it takes 30 minutes on the cool side of the grill (with the other side at medium-high heat). It took an hour. But if I had expected it to take an hour, it wouldn’t have bothered me.
