I really like Bitwig Studio, but I hit a case in which it was too "nice." I put some really noisy audio in a project, but added no effects. It automatically remove all clipping, and it sounded smoothed out, which I really did not want.
Maybe there's some setting I don't know about somewhere?
Well, in a way, that was nice because now I'm definitely going to keep it raw and not use Bitwig to mix this, which probably would have taken a lot of time and triggered a lot of doubt.
