- Dropped off, picked up.
- Job.
- Volunteered at the school library. They didn't really say anything about how to get there or what I should expect to do ahead of time, but the librarian was cool. I read a story to the guy's class and was there to help kids find books, but they didn't really need any. Got to see what the guy's class was like and chatted with the librarian about how things work there. The kids are actually mostly very chill. I met some of the kids the guy mentioned and figured something out. The assistant teacher seemed kind of irritable with the kids, like me when I'm tired of asking for something to be done repeatedly, rather than a Joy of Learning kind of teacher. Not great, not the worst. Anyway, the kids found the visit novel and fun, so that's cool.
- Got some additional propane. Turns out the tank wasn't out. It was only 25% empty. I guess maybe in the dark, I didn't open the valve enough and didn't notice?
- Went to therapy. Mostly got advice on how far I could push when dealing with school personnnel (pretty far) and how to use IEP resources, which was really helpful. Also, it was suggested that I try to do too much, even though I actually want to do more than I do right now. The same tension exists with going to far to try to make perfect decisions vs. really fucking up because you didn't think things through well enough.
- Made dinner.
- Worked on some riffs, metal ones for the first time in a while. I don't do that often because A) my guitar playing isn't usually as regular as it has been lately, so it's hard to get stuff out and B) it gets frustrating because I happen to not really come up with that many good metal riffs that aren't very, very close to existing ones.
- Wrote the D&D recap, sent out XP.
