- Dropped off, picked up.
- Emailed two friends back. One of them was struck with covid, despite being having of the most cautious families I know. (The same happened to another cautious family last year.) I have more people that it's important to email back, but I'm out of juice.
- Job.
- Mailed a check.
- Emailed the speech pathologist back. She seems really good at reporting the haps, so I want to make sure I respond.
- Made dinner. It was disappointing, but it was food.
- Emailed some D&D logistics questions out.
Also today, National Grid showed up to change the gas meter. They did, but then the furnace wouldn't turn on anymore. The National Grid guy said that he didn't do it, and I mostly believe him. He said he'd call an HVAC guy to fix it and then told me that if they didn't come, I should call the 800 number and just say I had no gas, then they'd send a National Grid guy who would then call an HVAC guy.
This sounded exhausting. Fortunately, the HVAC guy did show up two hours later, just as I was preparing to phone battle.
