- Sent plans, extra requests to electrician.
- Filled out a contracting tax form.
- Found out why the Moonlander wasn't autoshifting (automatically capitalizing a letter when I hold a key slightly longer than normal). Someone on the Recurse forums let me know that the default Ubuntu display server (which also handles input) changed from Xorg/X11 to Wayland in Ubuntu 21. The old computer runs Ubuntu 20 and the new one runs 22. When I log in with an Xorg session on the new computer, autoshifting works fine.
- Researched some kid art classes.
- Took the guy to social class.
- Got groceries.
- Went to the music programming group. Heard about code sonification and talked about data sonification in general. Found some mean sea level deviation data and tried plugging it into flooding, but it wasn't what I wanted. Got suggestions like the Portland tides and Lorenz equations, which sound promising. It occurred me that I could use "normal" curves and some random noise or Perlin noise.
