I did two rounds of newaza randori, which weren't particularly difficult, then one round of standing randori, which felt extra difficult because of the tiredness. I thought it would actually go better because I was well-warmed up.
But no. I am actually am in much better condition than I was last year, but still not in three-consecutive-rounds-of-judo condition.
Then, I did another two rounds with some black belts that were training for a tournament, so I took over what felt like twenty falls. I did realize that the best thing I can do against an aggressive skilled opponent is maintain an upright posture. Besides making me harder to throw, doing this helped me throw with an almost accidental ouchi gari when one of them was going for some other throw.
Anyway, I feel pretty good for surviving.
