OK, I laughed OL at that last bit. Maybe A.I. is actually useful for antagonism comedy.
In particular, Mr Matthews said, there are times when humans are better placed to take orders, especially when the restaurants get busy.

This is telling. It’s not helpful when things are busy, which is traditionally when workers have to show that they can work. It’s only OK when things aren’t busy, but this CTO is trying to keep A.I. in the mix, like he would for some dumb nepo baby.
