Swedish Death Metal:
Nihilist came from a core of five developing young musicians—Nicke Andersson, Alex Hellid, Leif Cuzner, Uffe Cederlund, and Lars-Göran Petrov. In 1986, the fourteen-year-old Anderson met Hellid and Cuzner during a summer camp.

"We made some logos and rehearsed a bit, but it was never really serious.
But in the autumn I started to travel the long way from Värberg to Kista, where they lived, to hang out." —NICKE ANDERSSON, NIHILIST/ENTOMBED
Simultaneously, the two youngsters Uffe Cederlund and Lars-Göran Petrov
got to know each other at school in Bredäng.
The members of Entombed met at a summer camp and school and rehearsed at a public youth center.
