Oh, yeah, I should say I finally tried Dungeon Crawl Classics for the first time this weekend. It delivered!
There was both a great feeling of high risk and of low risk as a result of having multiple fragile characters. A nobody getting hold of a magic ring is so much more exciting that the typical robust AD&D guy.
