I think reaching my forties has finally allowed me to appreciate Bathory's
slow melodic Viking era?
Though:
- It's actually not as different from the black metal stuff as I remember. That Bathory rhythm from A Fine Day to Die is still going in the guitars.
- Quorthon sadly only lived to 38.
