I'm still trying to work find a regular time to work on projects. As it is, project time tends to be incidental. I very occasionally stay up late. But if the project involves programming, that consistently makes the next morning much worse because it takes so long to wind down for sleep. Then, there's weekend periods in which Katt takes the guy out for a bit.
During the weekdays, I can hang out at a coffee shop for a while before work. I did that yesterday, but my hands hurt that night as a result of typing on the laptop keyboard instead of the ergonomic keyboards I use at work and at home. Though it's possible that it's because I haven't figured out how to remap the keys on my new laptop and ended up using my pinkies a lot.
Either way, it makes me idealize getting up really early again and doing stuff before the guy gets up, then having breakfast and helping him get ready. Which is unfortunate because I'm terrible at that. I've tried so many times. So many times. Today, I got out of bed up three minutes after the guy did.
Well, I suppose there are two ways to win here! Keyboard remapping making coffee shop timeā¦less consequential or eventually getting up earlier. I am making progress on shutting down at night, I think. It's all physical chores and reading for me after dinner these days.
