It turns out hats are…good? I used to be against hats because they look dumb. They still do, but yesterday, I felt way less drained after spending a couple of hours ranging the park in a hat than after times when I was hatless. I am forced to respect the hat!
On Saturday, the forecast said that it would be cloudy, so we didn't bring hats to Thomas Land. The forecast was wrong, so I had to improvise a hat. (See picture.) Never will we forget hats again!
We planned everything else fairly well, though, which was surprising. We got there a little after 10 and left at 3. That was early enough to go on plenty of rides and still not get exhausted and have meltdowns. There was some discomfort during the ride there, so we pulled over and took a break. No puking at all. Operational success!
