The bulgogi turned out good! Could be used a tiny bit more cooking, but better than I've done in a while. One thing I did differently was that instead of putting the grill basket on top of the grill, I removed one of the grill sections and put the basket over the gap left by it. I think there were too many layers between the beef and the flames before. With this setup, I was able to do about two minutes per side, though 2.5-3 minutes of side may have been better.
I fudged the measurements on the cucumber salad (외무침), and it turned out too sweet and sour. I pretty much accept any flavored cucumber, so it was OK for me, but not for Katt.
The guy didn't try any. And he only had two pieces of bulgogi. He used to love this stuff'! I guess you gotta keep on naming and reintroducing foods kids like as babies on a consistent schedule throughout toddler stage. Unfortunately, no one with kids that age has time for a precise master menu schedule.
